I woke up this morning remembering the familiar sense of excitement, curiosity, and a slight anxiety that I had in the morning of June 30, 2011. That day, after having completed a 6-months long program at PCAB (Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork), I left Kaua’i to go on a vision quest visiting all Hawaiian Islands.

This weekend, we are experiencing quite an astrological event. First, I will add that I am not an astrologist and the information I am sharing here was gathered from my readings. We've just had the Summer Solstice amplified by the new moon solar eclipse.
It was only a few weeks ago when many parts of the world were under a full lockdown. While we were confined to our homes, we looked back at times and cherished memories of experiences we had before the world came to a still stand.
The past few days have been energetically and emotionally quite an intense experience. Although I live on Kaua’i which is one of the most beautiful and remote islands on earth and I am very blessed to go through this unprecedented time with Eunjung, I felt vulnerable, lonely and sad with phases of grief and darkness.

As I enter into the 44th year on this planet this time around, I truly have a lot to be deeply grateful for my life. I will be counting my blessings and celebrating my birthday tomorrow with my partner Eunjung on our beautiful island of Kaua'i.
With the Covid-19 situation, it becomes increasingly clear that things will not return back to ‘normal’ quickly. It seems that individually and as a collective we are just at the beginning of a long journey, and it will take us a lot of patience. Having patience means we can let things have time to fall into place...
The native priests of Hawaii, called Kahunas, say that thoughts are physical, alive and have substance, even though they are invisible. Thoughts are powerful and influence our feelings. During these unprecedented times, we can strengthen our energy by focusing on positive blessings, non-judgmental thoughts.
